Lettuce Salad Recipe

In Fact, it is a Durga Puja food delight also known as “Bhog Khichdi”. The preparation is very simple yet there are things without which you cannot do like;

Basmati Rice- 1 cup, Split Green Mung-1 cup, Water-6 cups, Onion- 1 cup-finely chopped, Tomato- 1/2 cup-finely chopped, Kale, Spinach, any green leaves like Fenugreek leaves- 3 cups finely chopped, edible oil- 1 Tbsp + 1.5 tsp, Cumin seeds- 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp, Cloves-2, Slit Green chili-1, Dry red chili-4, Turmeric-1/4 heaped tsp, Mustard seeds- 1 tsp, Curry leaves-2 sprigs, Hing aka Asafoetida-1/8 tsp and a little Salt for a commendable taste.

In order to prepare Khichdi, you need to soak the rice until it softens a bit and add the above-mentioned 1 Tbsp of cooking oil, heat it up, add 1 tsp of the cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, once they brown, add onions in, fry until they turn translucent. Cook with a pressure cooker and take about 5 minutes and the rest will be served hot and with White coconut chutney!

3. Fish Curry with Rice Bran Oil

Let’s invest our hands into some of the spiciest recipes of India which are celebrated worldwide. In order to prepare the Fish-curry recipe, you have to know which fish is good for Curry? There are a diversity of fishes in India that are used for preparing fish curry. Let me tell you about a simple, flavorful, and delicious fish recipe. This recipe can be easily prepared with a gentle oil as it is much helpful in enhancing the immune system. The recipe will taste surprisingly solid with a bowl full of rice! A fish preparation will need a bunch of kitchen-friendly things. After all, Durga Puja is heading and fish curry with steamed rice is a fabulous Durga Puja delight.

You would need about 1 1/2 inches tamarind, 3 tbsps of the Jeevan Rekha Rice Bran Oil, 1 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi), 10 cloves garlic, 10-15 shallots steamed fish peeled and halved, 1 tbsp chili powder, Kashmiri powder for instance! 2 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 10 -15 curry leaves, 1 tomato medium chopped, 500 gms Kingfish seer or sliced into a taste of salt. 

Preparing a paste is very crucial for a fish curry recipe by grinding all the ingredients mentioned above. Don’t let it go dry and use little water but keep it to the minimum dryness. Eventually, heat the oil till it is just below smoking hot. Add some fenugreek seeds and fry them till they start changing color to a better one. Add a few garlic and shallots. Fry them for about 3-4 minutes. At this point add paste & mix it well and fry it for about 5 minutes or so.

4. Murmura Poha Recipe

Poha recipe is an all-time favored breakfast recipe that is easy to prepare and can be diced with different experimentation. Poha is also known as puffed rice and is extremely low in calories when associated with other ready-to-eat cereals. In any case, if you are trying to shed some weight with healthy longevity then please go for it.

To prepare the Murmura Poha recipe you would be needing these simple ingredients like 4 Cup Murmura, 1 Tomato Medium size Finely Chopped, 1 Onion Medium size Finely Chopped

1 tbsp Oil, 1 tbsp Peanuts, 1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing), 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1/2 tbsp Red Chili Powder, 1 tbsp Lemon juice, 1-2 Green chili Sliced, 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds, 8-10 Curry leaves, 1/2 tsp Chaat masala, 1 tbsp Coriander and last but not the least Salt!

Take a frying pan and add some rice bran edible oil and heat it on low flame. Make sure you wash the puffed rice but don’t overdo it and let it dry. Proceed by adding the cumin seeds, Asafoetida, green chilies, and curry leaves. Likewise, saute it for 15-20 seconds. Add the chopped onions and add a few peanuts to make the recipe taste even better till the peanuts turn dark black. Finalize by adding the spices and salt and serve it hot with a tight lemon squeeze!
